This Privacy Policy was established to provide members and customers with a clear insight of The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. privacy practices, including how we collect, process and safeguard personal identifiable information. The following is not intended, nor should it be interpreted as a contract of any kind, either stated or implied, between the Company and its potential or current members and customers.

 

In this Privacy Policy, the Company describes:

 

  • How The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. collects information from members and customers through their deliberate and voluntary interactions with the Company, the purchase of Company products and Services, the purchase and/or application for membership, registration to the company Directory, participation in a Company survey; and

 

  • How The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. manages and uses this information. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to the Company websites and not to websites or unrelated third party companies or organizations to which The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. provides links through its websites, or any software that may be downloaded from the Company websites.

 

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. strives to deliver high quality products and services to every member and customer. We recognize that the protection of personal identifiable information of the Company’s current and potential members and customers is an important part of our commitment. We believe that it is important to be transparent in the way the Company collects, safeguards and uses personally identifiable information.

 

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and customers and maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to store and secure information about the Company’s members and customers.

 

The Company only collects, processes and retains member and customer personally identifiable information that is necessary for providing products and Services.

This Privacy Policy applies regardless of the device members and/or customers use to access the Services and whether members and/or customers are accessing or using the Services in-person, as a registered user or otherwise. The collection and use of  member and/or customer information as described in this Privacy Policy is based on The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. legitimate business interest, compliance with our legal or regulatory obligations or, where applicable, the voluntary consent of the Company‘s members and/or customers.

By visiting and using the Company’s websites and/or purchasing products and/or Services, visitors, members and/or customers are tacitly consenting to the collection and use of their information as described in this Privacy Policy.

4. What Information Does The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. Collect?

 

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. collects two forms of information:

  2. Non-personally identifiable information for everyone who visits the Company websites

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. may collect personal information on members, potential members, customers and potential customers including, but not limited to, name, address, phone/fax numbers, email address, pledge and donation history, and member/customer ID number for all registered users. In the course of using the Company websites or Services, a user may be asked to provide personally identifiable information (e.g., name, address, zip/postal code, province/state, country, email address, telephone number, fax number, credit card payment information) in order to purchase a product, subscribe to a service, request information, or otherwise interact with the Company. In addition, users may be asked to periodically update their contact information.

When visitors, members and/or customers visit The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. website, personally identifiable information will only be collected when they choose to use, purchase and/or receive products and Services that require the disclosure of their personal identifiable information, or for the purpose of communicating through correspondence.

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. may also collect email addresses obtained through social media, voluntarily provided via directory membership applications and renewals, registrations on the Company website, product purchases, member surveys, email communication, and comments made in discussion threads on, or through the Company websites.

The Company also maintains a membership database. The information in this database is drawn from membership applications, dues payment forms, subscriptions, product orders, public databases, member surveys, and other correspondence between The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. and its members.

The Company also maintains a business directory and other similar Services. When members or customers subscribe and join the directory, their contact information becomes publicly available to visitors of the Company website. By subscribing to, and joining the business directory, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal and/or business identifiable information.

By registering and/or subscribing to the directory, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal and/or business identifiable information necessary to provide the Service.

7. Non-Personally Identifiable Information & Cookies

In addition to the personally identifiable information listed above, The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. may also use cookies information about all visitors to the Company websites, including pages viewed and the order visited, search topics and key words and products considered or purchased. The Company uses cookies to offer enhanced service, and the information generated from these cookies is used to help determine which services are most in demand by visitors, members and customers and to guide business decisions.

For the purpose of managing the operations of the Company Sites, system administration and troubleshooting, the Company may also record the originating Internet Protocol (IP) address, the type of browser and operating system used, date and time of visits, including duration and information about members and customers’ individual use and any other similar usage or system data.

8. Purpose and Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information & Cookies

The Company uses non-personally identifiable information and “cookies” for the purpose of producing statistical analysis in order to continually improve the Sites and enhance its usefulness and functionality to visitors.

The Company may use “cookies” to identify return visitors. A cookie is a small amount of data, which may include a unique identifier that is sent to your computer or mobile device, or browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your device’s hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your preferences allow it. Since we do not control the collection of information or the use of information collected via these other organizations’ websites, we are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, or content.

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. recognizes that the protection of personal identifiable information of the Company’s visitors, current and potential members and customers is an important part of our commitment. Personal information about our members and customers is only kept for as long as the Company needs it to fulfill its stated purpose. We maintain all personal information in our possession in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is possible. Appropriate security safeguards exist to protect such information.

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. may release personal information to law enforcement, as required by law and in order to comply with legal requirements.

13. Age of Consent

No information should be submitted to the Company by persons under the age of majority in your local jurisdiction, without the consent of their parents or guardian, nor should such persons place orders for products or Services, request membership or submit inquiries without such parental consent.

16. Correspondence Opt-Out

The Global Order of Middle Eastern Christians, Inc. marketing emails include a link for unsubscribing. The Company will apply your unsubscribe request as quickly as possible; however, because there may be periods when staff is experiencing unusual delays, high volume, or work backlogs due to seasonality, or other reasons beyond the company’s control, you may continue to receive emails for a short period of time until your unsubscribe request has been addressed, after which you should no longer receive marketing emails. You will still however receive emails regarding your transactions (i.e. e-mailed invoices; purchase orders confirming an order; correspondence between customers, members, prospective customers, prospective members; and any other communications between the public and the Company).
